Highlights for This Week!
- Senior Companions Summer Card Ministry ~ Help us share love with our Senior Companions (those 90 and above or needing extra support)! Stop by the card station, (located in what was once Markās office), to pick up a card/s, and a list of addresses! Sending a handwritten card is a simple way to help our senior companions feel connected, cared for, and remembered by their church family.
- There are still a few Camp Notes are available on the shelf in the Ministry Outreach Center (Markās old office). Our creative card makers have made special cards for kids going to camp. These cards are addressed and stamped, and contain info about the camper as well as a date to mail the note so it arrives on time. If youād like to send a note to a camper, please grab a card today.
- āPop-upā playdates - Mondays in July (July 7, 14, 21, 28) at Baker Park, 9:30-11:30am. All moms, grandmas, caregivers and their children are invited! Feel free to invite a friend. Come when you can; bring a lunch and stay longer if you choose.
- Our Greeter/Coordinator for July: Sharyn Canham. Please contact Sharyn if you need help signing up. Weāve opened up the sign-ups for the entire summer!
- Youth Room Ceiling Tiles - After many years of enjoyment, our painted ceiling tiles in the upstairs youth room are beginning to deteriorate. We are making plans to replace them with brand-new tiles. If you (or your child) has a ceiling tile that they painted in previous years that you would like to take home, please let Pastor Mark know (we will save it for you for your keeping). Future painting projects will be conducted on framed canvas that will be hung on the walls of the youth room. These paintings will be given back to the high school students upon graduation, which will make room for art produced by future students. The hand prints are here to stay, and will be added to by our seniors each year.
- VBS prayer cards are available in the Ministry Outreach Center (Markās old office). Please grab a stack, take them home, and join us in prayer for our True North VBS, July 14-18. Thank you!
